If you’re looking for a location in southern Indiana for your wedding and reception, Lakeside Reflections may be worth a second glance. While the approach isn’t the loveliest, this locale is a true hidden gem in Southern Indiana. Located in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the venue offers a gazebo that sits on the edge of a small lake and a large building where the reception can be hosted.
If you like a bit of local history, much of Lakeside Reflections has been built from materials from other structures around the area. For example, the dance floor is circular and is made from a water storage tank, 300,000-gallon, from Brown Forman Distilleries.
The rates at Lakeside Reflections are quite reasonable. You can get a complete list of rates on the website.
The wedding I attended at Lakeside Reflections was held at sunset. The effect of the setting sun into the small lake as the ceremony was performed in the gazebo was quite memorable. Silk and the wedding colors were draped here and there. The decor was simple, but elegant.
If you are on a budget and planning a wedding for 150 people or under, then this is a venue worth looking at.
