Garnier B.B. Cream Review

For quite a few years now, I’ve reviewed various products and buzzed about them for BzzAgent. Some things I love and some things I could live without. It is always a pleasant surprise when a product works particularly well. That is what I found with the Garnier B.B. Cream.

My skin is not great. I tend to break out and have to use a lot of cover-up, etc. There are quite a few things I love about this product.

  • It is lightweight, so it doesn’t clog up my pores and cause additional breakouts.
  • This cream evens skin tone, so it blends in with my natural coloring very nicely. I have a hard time with this at times because I am fair complected.
  • It has 15 SPF, which I love, because it protects my skin from the sun.
  • It does not dry out my skin.

I have been using this product every day for when I am at home to give me a bit of coverage in case someone drops by or I have to run to the post office. However, it is sheer. It is not quite enough to cover problem areas. The thing I love about it, though, is that it evens skin tone and takes down that redness without being heavy. When I am going out, I use this as my starting point now. This eliminates the need for moisturizer and then sunscreen and then skin tone evening. I’ve cut those three stops down to one, so it is also saves time.

Because it is light, I am able to put a heavier foundation on top and have almost flawless coverage. I don’t often highly recommend products, but I do recommend this one. It is also fairly inexpensive (around $13.00 for a large bottle that should last you several months). That might sound pricey at first, until you realize how much product you get for that price. It is a really good size container of cream and a little goes a long way.
