Place the bag of chocolate chips into the glass bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute, stir and then microwave in 20-second increments, stirring between each until the chocolate is completely melted. You can also use a double-burner, which is actually preferable as the chocolate will stay melted as you work with it, but don't go out and buy one special.

Stir in one teaspoon of mint flavoring and mix thoroughly with the chocolate.

Dip the crackers into the chocolate, coating completely and lay on the wax paper with a little room between each cracker so the chocolate doesn't run together.

Allow to cool complete and the chocolate to harden. You may want to place in the refrigerator.
